Biografie von Cyril Offord

Cyril Offord (* 9. Juni 1906 in London; † 4. Juni 2000 in Oxford) war britischer Mathematiker. Er wurde 93 Jahre alt. Sein Ausbildung umfasste die Hackney Downs School, St John’s College, University of London und die University of Cambridge. Er arbeitete unter anderem bei St John’s College, Bangor University, King's College, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Birkbeck, University of London, London School of Economics und Imperial College London. Zu seinen Auszeichnungen zählen Fellow of the Royal Society und Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
