Emilio Lorenzo (* 10. Juni 1918 in Puerto Seguro; † 2. Juli 2002 in Madrid) war spanish professor of Germanic linguistics. Er wurde 84 Jahre alt. Sein Ausbildung umfasste die Universidad Central und die Instituto Cardenal Cisneros. Er arbeitete unter anderem bei Universität Complutense Madrid, Universität von Pennsylvania, Instituto Lope de Vega und Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo. Er erhielt 5 Auszeichnungen, darunter honorary doctorate of Seville University, honorary doctorate of the University of Salamanca.
