John Philip Cooper (* 16. Dezember 1923; † 18. November 2011) war professor of Agricultural Botany at the University of Wales. Er wurde 87 Jahre alt. Sein Ausbildung umfasste die University of Reading und die Stockport Grammar School. Er arbeitete bei University of Wales. Zu seinen Auszeichnungen zählen Commander of the Order of the British Empire und Fellow of the Royal Society.
