Biography of Achmed Iskenderow

Achmed Iskenderow (* 23. November 1927 in Mardakan; † 13. October 2017 in Moscow) was a russian historian. He was 89 years old. His education included Military Institute of Foreign Languages and Moscow University's Department of Philosophy. He worked at Military Institute of Foreign Languages, Problems of Peace and Socialism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, Institute of World History, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and Questions of History. His awards include Order of the Badge of Honour and Honored Scientist of the RSFSR. He was buried at Vvedenskoye Cemetery.
