Biography of Adolf Hoffmeister

Adolf Hoffmeister (* 15. August 1902 in Prague; † 24. July 1973 in Říčky v Orlických horách) was a tschechischer Journalist, Schriftsteller, Politiker, Gelehrter. He was 70 years old. He studied at Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague. He worked at Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and Voice of America. He received 7 awards, including Národní umělec, Knight of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Olšany Cemetery.
