Biography of Adolph Goldschmidt

Adolph Goldschmidt (* 15. January 1863 in Hamburg; † 5. January 1944 in Basel) was a deutscher Kunsthistoriker. He was 80 years old. He worked at Harvard University, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His awards include Adlerschild des Deutschen Reiches, Corresponding Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America and Goethe Medal for Art and Science.
