Biography of Agnes Arber

Agnes Arber (* 23. February 1879 in London; † 22. March 1960 in Cambridge) was an englische Botanikerin. She was 81 years old. She was married to Edward Alexander Newell Arber. She had at least 1 child (1 daughter). Her education included University College London, Newnham College and North London Collegiate School. She worked at University College London and Balfour Biological Laboratory. Her awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Linnean Medal and Fellow of the Linnean Society of London. She was buried at Girton.
