Biography of Albert Nijenhuis

Albert Nijenhuis (* 21. November 1926 in Eindhoven; † 13. February 2015 in Seattle) was a niederländischer Mathematiker. He was 88 years old. His education included University of Amsterdam and Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem. He worked at University of Washington, University of Pennsylvania, Institute for Advanced Study and University of Chicago. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
