Biography of Alejandro Álvarez Jofré

Alejandro Álvarez Jofré (* 9. February 1868 in Monte Patria; † 19. July 1960 in Paris) was a chilenischer Jurist und Richter am Internationalen Gerichtshof. He was 92 years old. His education included University of Chile and Paris Faculty of Law and Economics. He worked at University of Chile and Paris Faculty of Law and Economics. His awards include Honorary Doctorate of University of Buenos Aires, Knight of the Legion of Honour and honorary doctorate from the University of Strasbourg.
