Biography of Alexander Alexandrowitsch Michailow

Alexander Alexandrowitsch Michailow (* 14. April 1888 in Morshansk; † 29. September 1983 in Saint Petersburg) was a russischer Astronom. He was 95 years old. He studied at Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow Imperial University. He worked at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He received 4 awards, including Order of Lenin, Hero of Socialist Labour. He was buried at Pulkovo Observatory cemetery.
