He was 89 years old. He was married to Natalya Belousova. He studied at Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. He received 9 awards, including Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 3rd class. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
