Biography of Alexander Iljitsch Leipunski

Alexander Iljitsch Leipunski (* 24. November 1903 in Drahle; † 14. August 1972 in Obninsk) was a sowjetischer Physiker. He was 68 years old. He was married to Antonina Prychotko. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). He studied at Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University. He worked at Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, National Research Nuclear University and Institute of Physics and Power Engineering JSC. He received 5 awards, including Order of Lenin, Hero of Socialist Labour. He was buried at Konchalovskoye cemetery.
