Alexander Zaborovsky (* 25. May 1894 in Gorodets; † 25. April 1976 in Moscow) was a soviet geophysics (1894—1976). He was 81 years old. He was married to Ekaterina Mudretsova. He studied at Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Saint Petersburg University. He worked at Russian State Geological Prospecting University, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Institut des sciences de la terre de l'Académie des sciences de Russie. His awards include Order of the Red Banner of Labour and Order of the Badge of Honour. He was buried at Kuntsevo Cemetery.
