Alexey Leonov (* 30. May 1934 in Listvyanka; † 11. October 2019 in Burdenko Hospital) was a soviet pilot and cosmonaut, first human to conduct a spacewalk. He was 85 years old. He was married to Svetlana Pavlovna Dozenko. His education included Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy and Kremenchuk flight college of National Aviation University. He received 8 awards, including Hero of the Soviet Union, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 1st class. His cause of death was diabetes. He was buried at Federal Military Memorial Cemetery.
