Aleksey Batalov (* 20. November 1928 in Vladimir; † 15. June 2017 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian actor, file director and screenwriter. He was 88 years old. He was married to Gitana Leontenko. He had 2 children. He studied at Moscow Art Theatre School. He received 10 awards, including USSR State Prize, Order of Lenin. His cause of death was falling from height. He was buried at Preobrazhenskoye Cemetery.
