Biography of Alfred Messel

Alfred Messel (* 22. July 1853 in Darmstadt; † 24. March 1909 in Berlin) was a deutscher Architekt. He was 55 years old. His education included Ludwig-Georgs-Gymnasium, Kunsthochschule Kassel and Bauakademie. He worked at Unterrichtsanstalt des Kunstgewerbemuseums Berlin. His faith was Judaism. He received 4 awards, including Order of the Red Eagle 4th Class, Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art. He was buried at Alter St.-Matthäus-Kirchhof Berlin.
