Biography of Alston Scott Householder

Alston Scott Householder (* 5. May 1904 in Rockford; † 4. July 1993 in Malibu) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker. He was 89 years old. His education included University of Chicago, Cornell University and Northwestern University. He worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University of Chicago and University of Tennessee. He was awarded the Harry H. Goode Memorial Award. He was buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.
