Biography of Andrej Yakovlev

Andrej Yakovlev (* 30. November 1944 in Saint Petersburg; † 27. February 2008) was a soviet-American biomedical scientist. He was 63 years old. His education included Lomonosov Moscow State University, First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg and Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He worked at University of Rochester Medical Center, Huntsman Cancer Institute and Saint Petersburg State University. He received 4 awards, including Fellow of the American Statistical Association, Guggenheim Fellowship.
