Biography of Andrzej Mostowski

Andrzej Mostowski (* 1. November 1913 in Lviv; † 22. August 1975 in Vancouver) was a polnischer Mathematiker und Logiker. He was 61 years old. His education included University of Warsaw and Stefan Batory Gymnasium and Lyceum. He worked at University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, University of Łódź and Institute for Advanced Study. He received 4 awards, including Polish State Award, Jurzykowski Prize.
