Biography of Anton C. Pegis

Anton C. Pegis (* 24. August 1905 in Milwaukee; † 13. May 1978 in Toronto) was an american-born historian of philosophy. He was 72 years old. His education included Marquette University, Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies and University of Toronto. He worked at Marquette University, Fordham University, Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies, University of Toronto and Doubleday. His awards include Aquinas Medal and Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America.
