Biography of Antoni Zygmund

Antoni Zygmund (* 26. December 1900 in Warsaw; † 30. May 1992 in Chicago) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker. He was 91 years old. He studied at University of Warsaw. He worked at Mount Holyoke College, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Warsaw University of Technology, Vilnius University and University of Warsaw. He received 4 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, National Medal of Science. He was buried at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
