Biography of Auguste Bravais

Auguste Bravais (* 23. August 1811 in Annonay; † 30. March 1863 in Le Chesnay) was a französischer Physiker und Mitbegründer der Kristallographie. He was 51 years old. His education included École polytechnique and Collège Stanislas de Paris. He worked at University of Lyon. He was awarded the Officer of the Legion of Honour. His cause of death was unknown.
