Biography of Aurel Stein

Aurel Stein (* 26. November 1862 in Pest; † 26. October 1943 in Kabul) was an ungarisch-britischer Entdecker und Archäologe. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Vienna, Leipzig University, University of Tübingen and Fasori Gimnázium. He worked at University of the Punjab and Oriental College. His faith was Lutheranism. He received 5 awards, including Prix Stanislas Julien, Knight Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire.
