Biography of Barrett Wendell

Barrett Wendell (* 23. October 1855 in Boston; † 9. February 1921 in Boston) was an amerikanischer Philologe und Anglist. He was 65 years old. He was married to Edith Greenough Wendell. He had at least 3 children (2 sons and 1 daughter). He studied at Harvard University. He worked at Harvard University, University of Paris and University of Cambridge. He was awarded the honorary doctorate from the University of Strasbourg. He was buried at Mount Wollaston Cemetery.
