Biography of Boris Borissowitsch Golizyn

Boris Borissowitsch Golizyn (* 18. February 1862 in Saint Petersburg; † 4. May 1916 in Petergof) was a russischer Physiker. He was 54 years old. His education included Naval Cadet Corps and N.G. Kuznetsov Naval Academy. He worked at Imperial Moscow University, Imperial University of Dorpat, Saint Petersburg Female Medical Institute and The Voeikov Main Geophysical Observatory. He received 4 awards, including Foreign Member of the Royal Society, Order of St. Vladimir, 3rd class. His cause of death was infectious disease. He was buried at Nikolskoe Cemetery of Alexander Nevsky Lavra.
