Biography of Carol Shields

Carol Shields (* 2. June 1935 in Oak Park; † 16. July 2003 in Victoria) was an american/Canadian author. She was 68 years old. Her education included University of Exeter, University of Ottawa, Hanover College and Oak Park and River Forest High School. She received 7 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Companion of the Order of Canada. Her cause of death was breast cancer.
