Biography of Charles Thomas Newton

Charles Thomas Newton (* 16. September 1816 in Bredwardine; † 28. November 1894 in Margate) was a britischer Klassischer Archäologe. He was 78 years old. He was married to Ann Mary Newton. His education included Christ Church and Shrewsbury School. He worked at University College London and British Museum. He was awarded the Royal Gold Medal. He was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery.
