Christian de Duve (* 2. October 1917 in Thames Ditton; † 4. May 2013 in Nethen) was a belgian biochemist, cytologist. He was 95 years old. His education included Catholic University of Leuven and Our Lady College, Antwerp. His faith was agnosticism. He received 10 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Leopold II.
