His education included University of Cambridge, Trinity College, Harrow School and Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. His faith was Theravāda. He received 10 awards, including Order of the Royal House of Chakri, Grand Cross of the Order of Chula Chom Klao. His cause of death was esophageal cancer. He was buried at Wat Ratchabophit Royal Cemetery.
