Clarence Edwin Ayres (* 6. May 1891 in Lowell; † 24. July 1972 in Alamogordo) was an american economist. He was 81 years old. His education included Brown University and University of Chicago. He worked at University of Texas at Austin, University of Chicago, Amherst College and Reed College.
