Biography of Clyde Tombaugh

Clyde Tombaugh (* 4. February 1906 in Streator; † 17. January 1997 in Las Cruces) was an uS-amerikanischer Astronom und Entdecker des Zwergplaneten Pluto. He was 90 years old. He was married to Patricia Tombaugh. His education included University of Kansas, Northern Arizona University and Kansas State University. He worked at New Mexico State University and University of California, Los Angeles. His faith was Unitarian Universalism. He was awarded the Jackson-Gwilt Medal.
