Biography of Dennis Brutus

Dennis Brutus (* 28. November 1924 in Harare; † 26. December 2009 in Cape Town) was a südafrikanischer Lyriker. He was 85 years old. His education included University of the Witwatersrand and University of Fort Hare. He worked at Northwestern University, University of Pittsburgh and University of Denver. His awards include War Resisters League Peace Award, Langston Hughes Medal and Paul Robeson Award.
