Biography of Denton Cooley

Denton Cooley (* 22. August 1920 in Houston; † 18. November 2016 in Houston) was an american heart surgeon. He was 96 years old. His education included University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas Medical Branch, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Heights High School and San Jacinto High School. He received 5 awards, including National Medal of Technology and Innovation, Presidential Medal of Freedom. He was buried at Glenwood Cemetery.
