Biography of Edmund Phipps-Hornby

Edmund Phipps-Hornby (* 31. December 1857 in Emsworth; † 13. December 1947 in Sonning) was a recipient of the Victoria Cross. He was 89 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). He studied at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich. His awards include Victoria Cross, Companion of the Order of the Bath and Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George. He was buried at St Andrew's Churchyard, Sonning.
