Edward Charles Stirling (* 8. September 1848 in Strathalbyn; † 20. March 1919 in Mount Lofty) was an australian scientist and politician. He was 70 years old. He had at least 1 child (1 daughter). His education included Trinity College and St Peter's College. He worked at St George's Hospital, Belgrave Hospital for Children, Royal Adelaide Hospital, University of Adelaide Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and South Australian Museum. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George and Knight Bachelor. His cause of death was bronchitis.
