Edward Sapir (* 26. January 1884 in Lębork; † 4. February 1939 in New Haven) was an uS-amerikanischer Ethnologe und Linguist. He was 55 years old. His education included Columbia University, Stuyvesant High School and DeWitt Clinton High School. He worked at Yale University and University of Chicago. His awards include Sterling Professor and Person of National Historic Significance.
