Biography of Edwin Hewitt

Edwin Hewitt (* 20. January 1920 in Everett; † 21. June 1999 in Seattle) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker. He was 79 years old. His education included Harvard University and The Leelanau School. He worked at University of Washington, United States Air Force, Institute for Advanced Study, Bryn Mawr College and University of Chicago. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Humboldt Prize.
