Ernest Arthur Bell (* 20. June 1926 in Gosforth; † 11. June 2006 in Tooting) was a british biochemist and Director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. He was 79 years old. His education included Durham University and Trinity College, Dublin. He worked at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and King's College London. He was awarded the Companion of the Order of the Bath.
