Biography of Eugène Vinaver

Eugène Vinaver (* 18. June 1899 in Saint Petersburg; † 21. July 1979 in Canterbury) was a französischer Romanist und Mediävist, der in Großbritannien gewirkt hat. He was 80 years old. His education included University of Paris, University of Oxford, Karl May School and École pratique des hautes études. He worked at University of Oxford and University of Manchester. He received 4 awards, including Knight of the Legion of Honour, Broquette-Gonin prize.
