Biography of Eunice Shriver

Eunice Kennedy Shriver (* 10. July 1921 in Brookline; † 11. August 2009 in Hyannis) was an american philanthropist; founder of the Special Olympics; sister of John F. Kennedy. She was 88 years old. She was married to Sargent Shriver. Her education included Stanford University and Manhattanville University. Her faith was Roman Catholic. She received 10 awards, including Knight of the Order of St. Gregory the Great, Grand Gold Decoration of Styria. Her cause of death was stroke. She was buried at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery.
