François Jacob (* 17. June 1920 in Nancy; † 19. April 2013 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a french biologist and geneticist, winner of the Nobel Prize in 1965. He was 92 years old. His education included Lycée Carnot and Paris Medical Faculty. He received 10 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Grand Prix Charles-Leopold Mayer. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
