Franz König (* 3. August 1905 in Rabenstein an der Pielach; † 13. March 2004 in Vienna) was an austrian Catholic cardinal. He was 98 years old. His education included Pontifical Gregorian University, Pontifical Biblical Institute and Stiftsgymnasium Melk. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 10 awards, including Concordia Prize, Bruno Kreisky Award for Services to Human Rights. He was buried at St. Stephen's Cathedral.
