George Edward Grey (* 14. April 1812 in Lisbon; † 19. September 1898 in London) was a neuseeländischer Politiker, Premierminister von Neuseeland (1877–1879), Gouverneur der Kapkolonie, von Südaustralien und Neuseeland. He was 86 years old. He was married to Eliza Grey. He had at least 1 child (1 son). His education included Royal Military College, Sandhurst and Royal Grammar School, Guildford. His faith was Anglicanism. His awards include Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath, Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi and Silver Medal of the Zoological Society of London. He was buried at St Paul's Cathedral.
