Biography of George F. Carrier

George F. Carrier (* 4. May 1918 in Millinocket; † 8. March 2002 in Boston) was an uS-amerikanischer Mathematiker und Physiker. He was 83 years old. His education included Cornell University, Stanford University and George W. Stearns High School. He worked at Harvard University, Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Brown University. He received 6 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Timoshenko Medal. His cause of death was esophageal cancer.
