Biography of George Forrest

George Forrest (* 13. March 1873 in Falkirk; † 5. January 1932 in Tengchong City) was a schottischer Botaniker und Sammler. He was 58 years old. He was married to Harriet Clementina Mary Wallace Traill. He studied at Kilmarnock Academy. He worked at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. His awards include Veitch Memorial Medal and Victoria Medal of Honour.
