Biography of George McGovern

George McGovern (* 19. July 1922 in Avon; † 21. October 2012 in Sioux Falls) was an american historian and politician. He was 90 years old. He was married to Eleanor McGovern. He had 5 children. His education included Dakota Wesleyan University, Northwestern University, Mitchell High School and Garrett–Evangelical Theological Seminary. His faith was Methodism. He received 6 awards, including Distinguished Flying Cross, Presidential Medal of Freedom. He was buried at Rock Creek Cemetery.
