Biography of Gordon Holmes MacMillan

Gordon Holmes MacMillan (* 7. January 1897 in Bengaluru; † 21. January 1986 in Renfrewshire) was a professional soldier who rose to become a general in the British Army. He was 89 years old. He was married to Marian Blakiston-Houston. His education included Staff College, Camberley, Royal Military College, Sandhurst and St Edmund's School. He received 5 awards, including Military Cross, Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath.
