Biography of Grigore Moisil

Grigore Moisil (* 10. January 1906 in Tulcea; † 21. May 1973 in Ottawa) was a rumänischer Mathematiker. He was 67 years old. His education included University of Bucharest, Politehnica University of Bucharest, University of Paris and Sapienza University of Rome. He worked at University of Bucharest and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University. His faith was Romanian Greek Catholic Church. He received 4 awards, including Computer Pioneer Award, State Prize of the Romanian People's Republic.
