Biography of Günther Ramin

Günther Ramin (* 15. October 1898 in Karlsruhe; † 27. February 1956 in Leipzig) was a deutscher Organist, Chorleiter und Komponist. He was 57 years old. His education included Thomasschule zu Leipzig and University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. He worked at Berlin University of the Arts and University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. He was awarded the National Prize of East Germany. He was buried at Leipzig South Cemetery.
