Halton Arp (* 21. March 1927 in New York City; † 28. December 2013 in Munich) was an astronomer from the United States. He was 86 years old. His education included California Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Harvard College and Tabor Academy. His faith was atheism. His awards include Helen B. Warner Prize for Astronomy and Newcomb Cleveland Prize. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Nordfriedhof.
